About OpenTelemetry

OpenTelemetry is comprised of a set of APIs, SDKs, tooling, and integrations that are designed for the creation and management of telemetry data (e.g. metrics, logs, traces), woven together in a single braid (vs pillars) via context propagation, and exported through a single protocol (OTLP) to any destination.  The project has seen a massive commitment from organizations, with greater than 300k+ contributions from over  450+ companies (see devstats here).
